Windows 10 and 11 · 64-bit · v0.4.29

Download Kairo.

Free, no account required. The app updates itself once installed.

Windows will warn you, and here is why

Kairo is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" and names an unknown publisher. You would click More info then Run anyway - but please read what that warning means first and make sure you got the installer from this site. Being told to click past a security warning is exactly what malware asks for.

Updates

Kairo keeps itself current

How it works

Kairo checks for a newer version and tells you when one exists. Downloads are not started automatically - you choose when to fetch and when to install.

What is verified

Every update is checked against a published SHA-512 checksum before it is installed. A file that does not match is refused.

Every released version is listed in the release notes, including what changed and any known gaps.

Removing

Uninstalling

Kairo uninstalls through Windows Settings like any other application. Two things worth knowing before you do:

  • Games you installed are not removed with the app - they stay in your library folder until you delete them yourself
  • Removing a game from inside Kairo deletes its folder permanently and does not use the Recycle Bin, which the confirmation dialog states plainly

Ready when you are.

If something goes wrong, the report form goes straight to a private review queue.
